Yamaha A-30

Yamaha A-30 Natural Sound Stereo Integrated Amplifier with Built-In Graphic Equalizer

The A-30 slots into Yamaha’s beloved early-80s black-panel lineup, pairing a clean 30-watt-per-channel integrated amp with a built-in 10-band stereo graphic equalizer — no separate EQ unit needed. That dual-function layout makes it a compact, all-in-one core for a modest system, whether you’re driving a pair of bookshelf monitors or feeding a small studio setup. The front panel carries Yamaha’s signature restrained industrial design: source selection, EQ sliders, and tone controls laid out with the same clean legibility that made this era of Yamaha gear so collectible. Fully serviced and tested here at Black Panel Audio, with pots cleaned and contacts treated, ready to drop into any vintage or modern system.

Notes: I really enjoy this amp. They’re durable designs with plenty of flow through vents for good airflow. The caustic glue has been removed and corrosion removed. All of the sliders and pots have been cleaned and lubricated. This is a very nice unit and makes a great first vintage amp with a light show.
